The reconfiguration of the existing security area, featuring a wall of three metre high framed glass, has already received positive feedback from staff and passengers alike. The existing queuing and preparation area had become too small and the project was timed to ensure that the modifications came into effect ahead of the busy summer flight schedule.
Passengers can now enter the search area more efficiently and have double the space where they collect their possessions after completing the security checks. The result has been an open and modern looking area, designed to provide an enhanced passenger experience for everyone using the terminal in future.
